Two bowls of pasta with different sauces on a white countertop, with a menu card nearby.

Case Study: Square x Pasta Prego Campaign

Client: Square Australia
Project: Visual Storytelling for Pasta Prego POS Launch
Role: Photographer & Visual Storyteller

Two frying pans on a stove with one containing pasta and the other containing a tomato-based dish, with a person stirring pasta in one of the pans.
Two young men wearing black T-shirts with 'Pasta Prego' text, smiling and looking at a tablet on a counter in a restaurant kitchen.

My Approach

To bring this story to life, I focused on capturing candid moments that reflected the energy of the restaurant and the people behind it. Using natural light and close attention to detail, I aimed to create visuals that feel warm, dynamic, and relatable and putting the customer experience front and centre.

A young man in a black t-shirt and green cap preparing food in a restaurant kitchen, using tongs to handle a dish with tomato sauce.
A person wearing a dark green hoodie with white and yellow text holding a bowl of pasta. The bowl is labeled 'PASTA PREGO' and contains pasta with vegetables, cheese, and sauce.

Outcomes

The images were featured prominently on Square’s website and marketing materials, helping to convey the ease and human side of their POS system. This project also strengthened my experience working with national brands and sharpened my storytelling through commercial photography.
